Description
Elliot is the newest addition to my family of lovely turkeys and guineas. He is the only chicken/rooster.
Found him on the side of the road in the very small town (population 300) in which I live.
We asked around for his owners and we couldn't find them. While searching Elliot let me hold him and didn't put up a fight at all; he even fell asleep in my arms.
He now lives at my house and struts around like he is the man.
We've had him for just over a week now and he follows me around the yard from time to time.
Tonight he was having trouble finding a place to settle down so I took him into the storage shed and sat next to him until he finally dozed off on a feed bag. I had to sneak out hoing that he would stay there even if he did wake up.
